Luke Hall MP’s first village tour of 2018 took place this week, which saw residents of Iron Acton make their way to London and visit the heart of British democracy.
On a busy day in Parliament, Luke was there to welcome Iron Acton to Westminster and hold his usual Q&A session.
Residents began the day by enjoying a tour of the Houses of Parliament, including the House of Lords, House of Commons, the Royal Gallery and Westminster Hall. The local MP’s Q&A session followed, taking place in one of Westminster’s committee rooms, before a trip to the riverside terrace for photos.
Thanking residents, Luke said, “I am grateful to everyone who has come today and taken part in my first village tour of the year. It has been a real pleasure to have welcomed Iron Acton to Parliament, and am thrilled everyone has had such a great day.”
The MP continued, “I am eager to continue putting on these tours and hope to invite many more towns and villages throughout the year.”
With Luke’s most recent tour being one of the most popular and in demand yet, it has been confirmed that a second Iron Acton tour with another full coach already booked up, has been arranged for next month. Further tours are in the pipeline for throughout 2018.
