Local MP Luke Hall took a break from Parliament this week, to visit a popular pub in South Gloucestershire which has received a significant investment from Heineken UK.
Heineken UK this year completed a £260,000 refurbishment of the site in Tytherington, with this investment part of a wider programme across the UK. Last year, Heineken invested £20m in major investments to help local pubs attract more customers, improve quality, and introduce good food. A further £20m is due to be invested in the UK this year.
Luke met with the pub’s manager Nikki, and Public Affairs Manager at Heineken UK, Mario Creatura, and enjoyed a tour of the revamped premises, before stepping behind the bar to learn how to pull the perfect pint.
Speaking at the Swan Inn, Luke said, “I am thrilled to be here at the Swan Inn to celebrate the fantastic renovation of this widely loved local pub and restaurant.”
“As our MP, I am glad that important services and business such as the Swan Inn are receiving such incredible levels of investment and support. It is great to see this pub thriving in our community and I wish all the staff and management the very best of luck for the future.”
The Swan Inn is located on Duck Street, Tytherington, GL12 8QB, and offers a wide selection of classic food and drinks. For more information, visit http://www.theswantytherington.co.uk/index.
