More jobs than ever before will be on offer at Luke Hall MP’s latest Jobs Fair, taking place next week.
The local MP is holding a recruitment event for local employers, giving residents from South Gloucestershire the chance to meet a wide range of businesses and organisation who are looking to fill vacancies.
Luke’s 9th Jobs Fair will be held at the Chipping Sodbury Town Hall, on Friday 2nd September, between 09:30am-11am. The Jobs Fairs are a staple part of Luke’s Positive Plan for Jobs and the Local Economy, having held these events throughout his time as our local MP.
Residents do not need to register ahead of the event, and will simply be able to visit the event and meet with a great mix of businesses and employers in the South Gloucestershire and Bristol area.
A wide range of local employers and companies will be in attendance to meet residents looking for work, apprenticeships, or a change of career, including the Royal Navy, McDonald’s, First Bus, British Army, Tesco, South Gloucestershire Council, Yate Supplies and many more.
Luke Hall MP said: “As a local man who worked in Lidl in Yate before becoming the local MP, I know that as we recover from the pandemic, it’s vital we help get people back into work or find the right career for them, and I am grateful to all those who are supporting this important event.”
