Luke Hall was joined in Chipping Sodbury last week, by local resident Stephen Meacock, who received a signed football from Bristol Rovers FC.
Following a request submitted by Mr. Hall, Bristol Rovers kindly agreed to donate Stephen, a life-long Bristol Rovers fan, his very own, signed football. Luke arranged for Stephen to receive his gift after helping to resolve a matter regarding this social support and care.
Accompanied by his parents Mr and Mrs Meacock, and his social worker Sharon, Stephen met with Luke to have a chat and general catch up, and to discuss if there was any further assistance Luke could provide.
Speaking after the meeting with Stephen, Luke said, “I am delighted that Stephen now has the support which is right for him and that he and his family are happy with his situation.”
Mr Hall continued, “Stephen is one of the biggest Rovers fans I have met and truly deserves his signed football. I would like to thank Stephen and his family for getting in touch, and am glad to have been able to help with their concerns.”
"I would also like to thank Bristol Rovers FC for their generosity and wish them the best of luck for next season.”
During his time as MP, Luke has assisted with a number of cases such as Stephen’s and has pledged to continue looking into any residents’ concerns if re-elected on June 8th.
