There have been an increasing number of concerns about large vehicles speeding along the B4058, between Charfield and Iron Acton.
As our local MP, Luke Hall contacted the Council and asked for a speed and volume assessment to be carried out to assess current usage. Luke has also written to Avon and Somerset Police, asking for increased patrols to clamp down on this issue.
Luke commented: "Our rural villages should not have to tolerate dangerous speeding and as our local MP, I will continue to press for more funding to ensure we tackle this growing problem and ensure large HGVs and lorries are treating our villages and hamlets with the respect and courtesy they deserve."
