There have been an increasing number of concerns raised about access for buggies, electric scooters and wheelchairs to Ridge Woods, due to the entrance being quite narrow.
After Luke Hall MP contacted South Gloucestershire Council, they have now announced that they will trial the installation of a RADAR key padlock on the Quarry Road gate to allow chair users access through the gate if required.
The news follows Luke's recent intervention at The Ride neighbourhood, where the grass had not been cut and areas such as the mini roundabout were overgrown. Following Luke's engagement, the local StreetCare team have now tidied it up and put the Ridge back on the list for maintenance.
