Luke Hall has been pressing Network Rail and South Gloucestershire Council to fix large potholes on the Iron Acton railway crossing which have been causing damaging to cars and bikes.
Network Rail have today confirmed that:
Both the track and the crossing at this location are scheduled for renewal of the May Bank holiday period in 2021, where a new crossing will be installed.
In the meantime they will repair the current potholes on the crossing.
Luke Hall said, "I am pleased we have secured these much need repairs to the road surface at Iron Acton. As our local and a regular South Gloucestershire commuter, I am determined to ensure we have the best possible roads".
The repairs follow the MP's recent success in helping to secure over £500,000 in funding, the whole of which is solely earmarked for pothole repairs.
