Local MP Luke Hall has held a day of action in the South Gloucestershire village of Wick.
He started the day visiting local business Clip, who specialise in custom exhibition stand building and design, to discuss covid-19 recovery support.
Luke Hall then held a village surgery in the Wick Café, and at the Rose and Crown Pub. Key issues that were raised with him included lorries speeding through the village, potholes, road safety, and monitoring wheel washing and access into the local quarry.
Residents also raised issues with parking near the shops, police presence in the village and the need to cut the grass verges.
Following the MPs litter pick in the village that morning, constituents also discussed the wider problem of littering throughout the village, especially from passing motorists out their car windows.
The local MP finished the day by knocking on resident’s doors to ask their opinion and suggestions on local post-Covid recovery.
