Work has begun on the Two Bridges Academy in South Gloucestershire, a new school to support pupils from nursery to 6th form with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism.
In Parliament today, Luke Hall MP asked the Minister for Children, Families and Wellbeing to join me in thanking the Educational Trusts and local teams who are helping to deliver this exciting new project, and asked that the Department for Education do everything they can to ensure that the school is fully open by the planned date of September 2024. This will help to ensure we can meet the growing demand for SEND services in South Gloucestershire and have the very best facilities for local children.
